CAMSIZER® - measuring results
The
software specialists at the cooperation partners Retsch
and Jenoptik have taken full account of
the different customer requests and offer presentation of the results
in diagrams, tables, characteristics or even as direct digital pictures
of the particle flow.
The unique processing of scanning each measured particle in
many different directions allows for very exact, reproducible statements
about grain shape and size:
- User-oriented presentation of results for all common particle
distributions
- Classification of the particles to different specific diameters
(xequivalent over surface measurement, xcmin
= width/by chord, xFemin = width/by tangent, xFemax
= length)
- Calculation and output of many different parameters, such as:
width/length ratios, sphericity, symmetry, convexity as mean values
and threshold-dependent quantitative proportion for the total
sample
- Tables to show width/length, sphericity, symmetry and convexity
values referred to the size class
- Diagrams to show width/length, sphericity, symmetry, convexity
distribution referred to size class and independent of size.
- Volume, surface and quantitative presentation for fractions
and total sample
- Extremely high resolution capability in more than 10,000 measuring
classes
- Saving the measured values in minimum 1000 size classes
- Trend analysis, e.g. for incoming goods or production processes
- Determination of standard deviation
- Mean formation for different measurements
The Camsizer software also allows for trend analysis of production
processes, determination of standard deviations, mean formation
and further features. A clearly organised, individually structured
measurement protocol is produced as a printout based on DIN 66165.
