Sieve analyses with the EasySieve® software by Retsch are easier, quicker and more reliable. This software is capable of automatically supporting all sieve and weighing processes, as well as making all results readily available in the form of a protocol including graphics. The evaluation possibilities also encompass all of the characteristic values concerning particle size and particle distribution. Regardless whether you’re performing routine processes with a high sample throughput, or complex tasks of individual analysis, the Windows®-based EasySieve® program simplifies not only the sieve and particle size analysis, but the evaluation process as well.
EasySieveâ is the modern software solution for particle size analysis. The controlling, evaluation and documentation of the sieve analysis process are considerably simplified through the Windowsâ user interface – 95, 98, NT, ME, or WIN 2000. The self-explanatory, logical layout of EasySieveâ enables the user to work more efficiently right from the start. The assignment of parameters and the setting of the particle sizes to be calculated are executed per mouse click in the corresponding entry fields. The user will be led through the entire sequence of operations step by step. Regularly used parameters can be reliably saved, edited and recalled at a later time.
EasySieveâ takes over support
EasySieveâ communicates directly with the connected analytical scale and with the sieve machine AS 200 control. The selected sieve parameters, such as sieving time, sieve movement and amplitude, are PC controlled. As a result, the presettings have to be entered only one time. For all following analysis procedures, EasySieve automatically takes over the transfer of data to connected machines, the data administration and the control of all machines.
In addition, EasySieveâ protocols important analytical parameters, such as the sieve machines selected, sieve heights, sieve diameters, sieving support and density. After completion of the sieve analysis process, the program automatically determines the mass proportions by difference, and assigns them to the corresponding fractions. All data is immediately available for further processing.
Evaluation of sieve analysis – easier than ever before
The definition of the measuring and evaluation parameters is supported by an EasySieveâ “wizard” function. Entry errors or carelessness during operation are thus prevented. The previously stored product-specific settings and measuring parameters simplify the changing back and forth between the different recurring measuring applications. All stored parameters for a specific, complete sieve analysis process can be retrieved in one single operational step. Password protection for all analysis parameters prevents operating errors and unwanted access by third parties.
From the measured values, EasySieveâ calculates all standard particle distributions, as well as the characteristic particle size values. The results can be presented in any conventional format – whether tabular or graphical. Cumulative throughput or residue values, division densities, trend analyses, as well as histograms can be displayed in standardized particle grids. All results are not only printed and saved as described, but are also available for further processing with other software products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or can be exported as an ASCII file. Quick and easy data import or export is also possible with modern optical analysis devices like Camsizer® and Crystalsizer®. |
